El Guapo - Chicory Pecan
A very aromatic bitters. Naturally works well with bourbon and dark rums; try it in an Old Fashioned! Very popular flavour addition for Tiki style drinks.
A recipe to try:
- 2 parts Dark Rum
- 2 dashes El Guapo Chicory-Pecan Bitters
- .25 parts Cinnamon Syrup (homemade)
- 1 (1/2" by 3") orange peel piece and 2 to 3 raisins for garnish
Place 1 (2 1/2") ice cube in a rocks glass. Add the rum, the bitters, and cinnamon syrup, and stir until well chilled. Squeeze the orange peel over the drink, making sure the oils fall into the glass. Then thread the peel, along with the raisins, onto a cocktail pick. Place the pick in the drink & serve.
