To make the best mulled cider you've ever had, filll a mulling ball, teabag or some cheese cloth with 3 heaping Tbsp of mulling spice and place into a large stockpot filled with 1/2 gallon of apple cider. Over medium heat, bring liquid to just below boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. For out of this world mulled wine, replace cider with red wine and add 1 cup orange juice and 1/4 cup sugar (optional).
