Kramer by Zwilling 4" Damascus Paring Knife
Zwilling Bob Kramer 4" Damascus Paring Knife
Damascus, also known as 'pattern welded steel', is the result of combining at least two different types of steel that harden and temper in the same range to achieve a desired aesthetic. Damascus has a complex creation process and requires lots of time and concentration; it constantly allows me to tap into my creativity to produce a unique art piece that is also a high performance tool for your kitchen.
As you can imagine, this process is very labor and material intensive. In some cases, up to 70% of the material is lost while achieving a desired pattern. This is why my Damascus knives are much more expensive than my Straight Carbon knives.
DURABLE LINEN-MICARTA HANDLE
Prized as one of the most durable handle materials available, linen micarta withstands extreme temperatures and resists wear, even after prolonged use. Handle is triple riveted for strength and control, with full tang tapered to Bob’s precise specifications. Each knife features a signature center pin handcrafted by Bob himself.
