This beautiful fine china mug from Royal Worcester is part of the Portmeirion Wrendale Collection. The front of the mug depicts an adorable illustration of a pair of donkeys who are peering curiously over the top of a stone wall, looking directly at the artist. They are both captured using a pallet of browns and greys and are depicted with intricate detail. Sat next to the pair is a robin with its bright red chest. Painted in watercolour, the illustration pleasingly contrasts against the crisp white background of the mug. Surrounding the animals are speckles of black paint, in a way that it very synonymous with the Wrendale brand. The speckled detail also features on the handle and a perched robin is depicted on the inner rim. With a capacity of 310ml the fine china mug is both dishwasher and microwave safe.
